This new collection reimagines Converse’s legendary past by blending vintage-inspired designs with modern functionality, making it the perfect fusion of nostalgia and forward-thinking style.

Drawing inspiration from Converse's archival running shoe designs from the 1980s, these new models breathe new life into the brand's rich history. The collection offers South African fans a fresh take on the Converse legacy, rooted in the spirit of innovation that has defined the brand since its inception in 1908. With over 10,000 items in its archive, Converse boasts one of the sneaker industry’s most experimental collections, continuously pushing boundaries while honoring its past.

Modern Silhouettes with Retro Vibes

The Wave Trainer, Omni Trainer, and Omega Trainer offer a contemporary twist on Converse’s archival running heritage. The Wave Trainer, inspired by the 1989 running style, combines dual-layer suede and sport mesh for a sleek, retro look. Featuring a CX foam sock liner and midsole for all-day comfort, it’s designed for wearability with a touch of modern flair, including a reflective overlay and an embroidered Star Chevron logo.

The Omni Trainer, reminiscent of the 1984 Converse Equinox, combines sport nylon ripstop with suede overlays, adding durability and retro charm. A CX foam midsole and sock liner ensure comfort, making this trainer ideal for everyday wear.

Meanwhile, the Omega Trainer draws inspiration from the 1984 Thunderbolt and 1985 Converse Gazelle, offering a lightweight design with a woven poly sport upper and suede accents. The EVA midsole adds comfort and flexibility, making it a perfect balance of style and performance.
